“Sarsa” experience

The tomato harvest and “a sarsa” production is another important and significant community moment. Here families prepare the tomato sauce once a year to ensure it is always ready. Usually, it’s an operation that is done between late July and early August, and begins early in the morning to avoid the hot summer sun. Our guests will take part in all stages of preparation and will enjoy lunch with the family over a tasty plate of pasta and fresh tomato sauce among other dishes made from tomatos.
